Miss USA 2014 has been crowned.
Nia Sanchez of Nevada took home this title last night, defeating 50 contestants after receiving applause for speaking out on the dangerous issue of college campus rape.

She has a black belt in taekwondo.
She lived in a women's shelter with her mom when she was six years old and now volunteers Shade Tree, a women's shelter in Las Vegas.
Sanchez has worked as a number of face characters at Hong Kong Disney, including Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Belle and Snow White.
She'll keep modeling for awhile, but her dream is to be a mother and raise children. "And I can see myself doing something off to the side like working at a day care or teaching martial arts at a taekwondo studio," she told Las Vegas Weekly.
She has a boyfriend! Tough break, fellas! The lucky guy's name is Daniel Booko.
